Since 2021 he has been President of the Fundación Finanzas Éticas-Activismo y Economía Crítica, having participated, since its inception, in different associative structures of Fiare Banca Ética. From 2010 to 2020 he was President of REAS-Network of Networks of Alternative and Solidarity Economy of Spain.
He has been working professionally since 2005 in the Coordination Team of REAS Euskadi-Network of Alternative and Solidarity Economy and, before that, for more than ten years, he worked in Hegoa-Institute of Studies on Development and International Cooperation of the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herrriko Unibertsitatea.
He is actively involved in different initiatives related to the social and solidarity economy, as well as in other alternative social movements.
